Welcome to Kombu where meat-lovers and vegetarians enjoy great food side by side without compromise or sacrifice.
I am on a mission to change how we think about healthy food. I actually think we should “eat as if our life depends on it”. Most of what you will experience- from our produce to our wine selection- was sustainably grown from local suppliers. Our beef is grass-fed. Our greens are organic. Our seafood is delivered fresh daily and filleted in house, and our wine list is Californian. We combine global flavors with seasonally inspired ingredients from my East Bay garden, local farms and vineyards, and wild foragers. We are honored to serve you and hope you taste the essence of our mission in every bite!

Amazing restaurant if you are looking for clean organic eating! The kale Caesar and risotto with mushrooms and edamame was spectacular. The service was impeccable and the staff was over the top attentive, an amazing experience across the board. I would highly recommend!!

Loved this place. Food and drinks / wine: just fantastic. Sriracha shrimp was awesome, and what an interesting combination! Every dish was Delicious! Lovely views of downtown San Francisco, with an elegant, yet ralaxed atmosphere. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Located in or next to the Four Seasons hotel says a lot about the quality of Kombu too.
